Every second Chevrolet Camaro in the UAE seems to sport an Autobots badge in homage to the muscle car's role as the Transformers character Bumblebee. Last year, we reported how a real-life Batmobile was among the strangest items ever sold on Dubizzle. And now Iron Man has joined that superhero/car crossover crew with a special Hyundai Kona SUV.
OK, so the Korean carmaker might not be the most obvious fit for the Marvel-tastic creation, which was given its debut at this weekend's Comic-Con in San Diego, California – but it does continue a collaborative lineage between the two companies, after Hyundai's latest Veloster Turbo was featured in this summer's Ant-Man and the Wasp movie (read our film review here).
The Kona Iron Man Edition has special day-running headlamps meant to resemble the mask/eyes of Iron Man's suit, while other features include a mask motif on the roof, Stark Industries decals, plus various engravings of Iron Man-related logos. The exterior colour is "Iron Man red" with matte grey.
The interior also has plenty of superhero flourishes, including Tony Stark’s signature on the instrument panel, as well as those famous lit-up eyes on the dash and an Iron Man gear-knob.

The Kona Iron Man Edition isn't just for show – it will actually be a limited-edition production model, due to be built from December and on sale early next year.
It wasn't the only automotive eye candy that's been on show at Comic-Con, either, as you can see below from 2016:
