Instagram is a natural home for interiors-lovers. Similar to Pinterest, the image-led social-media platform is like a mini online magazine, perfect for a little browse on your lunch break or when you’re on the hunt for inspiration for a project of your own. Here we round up 10 accounts worth adding to your follow list.

Stella & the Stars

@stellaandthestars

Best for: Bright and inspirational family life

Emilie J, an award-winning home interiors blogger, is all about bright, cheerful interiors that work for her family – and that’s exactly what you’ll find on her popular Instagram account. You might have slight home envy after looking at the images on this one, but it’s not all cute kids playing happily in perfectly styled rooms. Stella is always out and about, and she’s got a great eye for a picture, so you’ll also get to enjoy any design treats that catch her interest, from showhomes to interior design shops, as well as the homes she styles for her clients.

Emaan Home

@emaanhome

Best for: Soulful minimalism and plenty of inspiration

This is a hidden gem that’s well worth uncovering. Shazia Ahmed, a Canadian Muslim, uses her spiritual journey as inspiration for creating homewares that reflect a slower, more meaningful and focused life. From marble and brass candlestick holders to monochrome cotton Berber rugs, the items you’ll see on this Instagram feed are consciously curated to create minimalist and spiritually peaceful homes. You’ll also find inspirational quotes and reflections from Ahmed posted on the feed that will help you find moments of tranquility and contemplation amid the busyness of social-media scrolling and life in general.

Tribe Dubai

@tribedubai

Best for: Relaxing pastel-tone curations and rustic vibes

If sustainable, handmade and ethically sourced furniture and home accessories are your thing then you really need to follow this popular local store. From simply styled room sets that will make you feel relaxed simply by looking at them, to stunning products you’ll want to buy immediately, this is an ideal place to do a little online window shopping. And because their goods are sourced from thousands of artisans in more than 25 countries, you know you’ll find something really special. The team also run workshops from their store in Dubai’s Al Quoz, so if you live nearby then you’ll surely be tempted to join in.

Rincey Philip Interiors

@rinceyphilipinteriors

Best for: Understated elegance and great palettes

Interior designer Rincey Philip, who works in Dubai, started her career in engineering before her passion for home styling led to a career change. Her Instagram feed is full of sophisticated products and room shots, with captions that ooze passion and enthusiasm. Philip has a real appreciation of detail and favours strong but soothing colour palettes in shades of navy, mustard and off-white, as well as plenty of copper and other metallics.

Muse Design

@musedesign.ae

Best for: Unadulterated, aspirational luxury

Husband and wife team Michael Dudnyk and Stanislava Rudas-Dudnyk are the brains behind Dubai’s Muse Design. Their interior design work is high-end luxe, from the subtle to the spectacular. Think four-poster beds, loads of marble, crystal chandeliers and lots and lots of gold. Their Instagram account is definitely aspirational viewing. You’ll also catch glimpses of the couple’s glamorous life, whether that’s Stanislava looking stunning at the opening of a new store or the two of them posing with their children, Dominik and Deniela.

Indigo Living

@indigo_living_uae

Best for: Luxe furniture and regular interviews with design experts

With roots going back more than 40 years, this high-end interiors brand sells furniture and home accessories, as well as offering design services. Look out for statement pieces on the feed, such as hand-painted cabinets and sumptuous velvet sofas, as well as stunning artwork. And don’t miss the Indigo Living IGTV, which features presenter Rosemin (@roseminsworld) broadcasting a weekly #OnTheCouchWith show, in which she interviews various interiors experts.

HomesScope

@homesscope

Best for: Inspiring roundups and up-to-date insights

Scrolling through this vibrant feed, you can’t help but feel inspired. Much of it is linked to articles published on the HomesScope blog, which covers everything from kitchen makeover tips to “get the look” features. Managing director and founder Kashish Sajnani has an eye for the unusual, whether that’s a piece of wood carved to make a quirky but sophisticated planter to a double-height restaurant smothered in tropical wallpaper. It is like flicking through a glossy interiors magazine.

Oni Fabrics

@oniearthkindfabrics

Best for: Beautiful fabrics and exotic location shots

If you love fancy textiles, then you definitely need to follow Oni Fabrics. The brand’s products are made in India and sold online, as well as in Nilaya House (@nilayahouse) in Al Quoz. Their 100 per cent pure organic cotton quilts and bedspreads are made by hand in a way that respects the Earth and the people who create the items. Follow the company on Instagram to see not only the quilts themselves but beautifully shot glimpses into the process of making them, plus inspiring images that have been captured in India, from Mughal motifs at the Gem Palace (@munnugempalace) to the Amer Fort in Jaipur.

Anarchitect

@anarchitect_co

Best for: Sophisticated architectural triptychs and high-end homes

We had to include award-winning architecture, interior and design practice Anarchitect in this round-up because of their unusual and effective approach to Instagram. Posting in sets of three images, their home screen looks like a beautiful series of triptychs. These feature both interior and exterior shots, all of which have the luxe vibe of a high-end architecture magazine.

House of Hawkes

@houseofhawkes

House of Hawkes is brought to you by Kath Hawkes, last year’s Interior Blog Awards Best International Interior & Lifestyle Blog winner, and her design and styling team. The Dubai-based brand is all about simple everyday living and their Instagram features as many pictures of photogenic kids and dogs as it does Hawkes’s work. Follow if you like pared-back neutrals, pale wood, succulents and seascapes.
