New Hunger Games zone now open at Motiongate Dubai
Got a 'Hunger' for entertainment? Head to Motiongate
It's official, the Hunger Games zone is now open at Motiongate Dubai.
The World of the Hunger Games, which opened on October 20, is the final piece in the entertainment puzzle for the Lionsgate part of the Hollywood-inspired theme park.
Fans of the hugely popular Hunger Games film franchise can now satiate their appetite by experiencing a land which includes a replication of the movie set, and exclusive video content, featuring film favourites Effie Trinket and Caesar Flickerman broadcast on screens across the land.
There's a street show and a shop, as well as a street-front cafe, while thrill-seekers can opt for a ride on the high-speed, gravity-defying Capitol Bullet Train, an adrenaline-fuelled ride on a half-pipe rollercoaster.
Mohamed Almulla, the head of DXB Entertainments PJSC, the company that owns Dubai Parks and Resorts is excited by the new addition.
“Dubai has always been home to some of the biggest and most prominent events and shows in the world ... we are proud to launch the latest addition to Dubai Parks and Resorts, a first of its kind in the world."
