Royal Oman Police have arrested three citizens over the theft of a bus in the Al Batinah North Governorate of the sultanate.

In a post on social media, the force said they were arrested on suspicion of stealing a school bus and another vehicle.

Police said legal procedures will follow.

"Three individuals were apprehended by the North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command for the theft of a vehicle and a school bus," Royal Oman Police said in a post on X.

"The suspects had concealed the stolen items on a farm with the intention of selling them as spare parts and scrap.
