Two new luxury projects by Aldar Properties in Abu Dhabi are on track for completion this year, the developer said.

It said steady progress was being made across all of its projects, with Yas Island’s Ansam and Al Raha Beach’s Al Hadeel moving closer towards completion and handover this year.

Al Hadeel, in which its 233 units have sold out, is entering the final stages of its facade glazing, as internal fixtures and fit-outs continue to progress.

Ansam, consisting of 547 units overlooking the Yas Links golf course on the west side of Yas Island, is also close to completing facade glazing, with MEP installations progressing well, according to Aldar.

The developer added that two mock-up villas are now complete at its West Yas scheme, and will be open to the public “in the coming weeks”.

Early works are ongoing at Mayan, Aldar’s golf and waterfront apartment development on Yas Island, with the main contract package expected to be awarded by the second quarter this year.

At Yas Acres, enabling works have commenced in order to ready the site for the award of the main contract by the end of June this year.

On Reem Island, the Shams Closed Canal is now nearing completion, along with the public realm streetscape.
