Talent show auditions for children

Head to Marina Mall on Sunday for live auditions of the KidsTalent show. Nancy Ajram and Ali Jaber will judge the finals on December 21.

Nancy Ajram and Ali Jaber are coming to Abu Dhabi in search of the next big star.

The Egyptian singer and Arabs Got Talent judge will arrive in the capital next week to judge the Kids Talent Show at Marina Mall.

Running from Friday to December 21 and hosted by the actor Moamen Nour, Kids Talent show invites contestants from age 6 to 15 to compete in one of four categories: singing, musical instrument, dance and various talents, which includes gymnastics, magic and sports tricks.

Daily auditions begin on Sunday, from 3pm to 9pm, with qualifying contestants appearing once again in the semi-final on Friday, December 20, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

The final will be held the following day from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and will be attended by the celebrity judges Ajram, Jaber and the actor Khaled Najem.

The first prize-winner will receive Dh10,000 worth of Marina Mall gift vouchers, a iPad Mini, an iPhone and a karaoke system. Second place will receive Dh7,500 worth of gift vouchers, a trophy, a mini-laptop and mobile phone while third place gets mall vouchers worth Dh5,000, a television and a home-theatre ­system.

A special Audience Popularity award will also be announced on the night.

Registrations for the competition ends today at 8pm. The sign-up desks are located on the ground floor of Marina Mall.
