A new dance music festival is set to take place in Saudi Arabia this December, and it boasts a huge line-up.

The inaugural MDL Beast Festival will take place in Riyadh between Thursday, December 19 and Saturday, December 21. Topping the bill will be some of the world's biggest DJs and EDM stars, including David Guetta, Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Black Coffee, Tiesto and Steve Aoki.

They will be joined by a stellar line-up of homegrown talent, including Saudi DJ duo Dish Dash, and the kingdom’s first female DJ Cosmicat.

Organisers say the three-day festival will bring together the best in electronic music, performing arts and culinary craft across five stages. There will also be a series of immersive performances and visual spectaculars, alongside a host of boutique shopping experiences in the festival's MDL Town.

“More than just a music festival, MDL Beast is also a platform with multiple objectives including ongoing seasonal local and global events, online and radio channels, recording studios, and a non-profit foundation promoting music education and therapy,” said Ahmad Alammary, DJ and member of the festival team. “We’re confident MDL Beast will be like nothing seen before and we cannot wait to experience this transformative musical milestone.”
