Social media star Adam Saleh is returning to the UAE as a music artist.

The Yemeni-American vlogger (who has more than 3.3 million YouTube subscribers) will hold a meet and greet with fans in Le BHV Marais Dubai, City Walk, on Saturday at 6pm, to celebrate his debut album Chapter II.

Released earlier this month, it features a cavalcade of young stars ranging from American rapper Silentó and Australian-Lebanese R'n'B crooner Faydee to Emirati social media sensation Mo Vloggs.

The English-Arabic lead single Waynak, featuring Faydee, was released yesterday, the video for which was shot in Dubai and features the city skyline and desert.

Saleh, 24, is a regular visitor to the UAE and has performed sold-out stand-up comedy shows in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

His previous visit to Dubai in February was mired in controversy after Saleh cancelled an appearance at the RedFestDXB festival, claiming staff were disrespectful to him. Organisers, Done Events, responded to The National by stating Saleh's allotted time had to be cut short due to unprecedented storms.

Saleh caused headlines around the world in December after claiming on social media that he was kicked off a Delta Air Lines flight for speaking Arabic, something which the American carrier denied.

With the new album receiving a positive reception from fans, Saleh will be arriving in Dubai singing a different tune.
