Hi Ian, great article. And agreed on everything except your best 11. I would replace some (Cavani for Ibra). 2010 summer promised to bring back the success to Juve but the new kids on the block didnt notice the following: Both full back positions were very very weak. Grosso? Sorenson? Motta? De Ceglie? Traore? These guys would be subs at mid table clubs. We had to buy two full backs. We also had to buy a class winger, Sanchez, Manual Vargas or David Silva. We didnt. Some big mistakes, Martinez 12m??? He wont be able to sell him for 5 now. Looking forward: We need 100 Million and i believe we have the cash as the Ferrari headquarters have given the nod. With this 100 million, we need to buy 4 players: 2 Full backs: Bastos & Maggio/Clichy/Liechster; world class winger: Sanchez, Nani or Ribery; one class forward: Sergio Aguero or Rossi. Some more cash (additional & from selling players)to confirm aquilani, matri, quagrialla (not sure). Sign Pirlo on 2 yr contract.
