Clashes resumed today between Iraqi police and residents of a camp housing Iran's main opposition in exile, a police officer said. Iraqi security forces have opened a police station within Camp Ashraf, in Diyala province north-east of Baghdad, and raised the Iraqi flag, the officer, who declined to be named, said. He added that Iraqi security forces now controlled about 75 per cent of the camp. Two police officers have died and at least 400 people been wounded since Iraqi troops and police stormed the camp yesterday, police and medics say. * AFP
