Coronavirus live: Dubai to allow up to 50 per cent of staff to return to offices
UAE reports 779 new cases, 325 recoveries and five deaths
Dubai will increase the number of workers allowed in an office at any one time from 30 per cent to 50 per cent under new measures outlined by Dubai Economy.
Other measures include allowing 70 per cent of staff in retail outlets and allowing barber shops and salons to open at 50 per cent of normal capacity.
Earlier on Tuesday, the UAE announced 779 new coronavirus cases, after an additional 28,000 tests. The Ministry of Health and Prevention also confirmed 325 new recoveries and five further fatalities.
Globally, more than 5.5 million cases of Covid-19 were confirmed as of Tuesday, while the death toll reached 346,612. More than 2.2 million recoveries were also reported.
