WATCH: A wacky week in British politics
It has been a strange week in British politics.
An expected vote on the Brexit deal put forward by Theresa May and the EU was postponed and instead there was a vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister.
While she survived the vote and the week, Mrs May could not avoid the drama.
The struggle was all apparent when the UK leader could not even get out of her car, as a patient Angela Merkel looked on.
Meanwhile, the debate raged on in parliament with Labour MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle venting his frustration by trying to steal the ceremonial mace.
The speaker of the house, John Bercow, was having none of it. The mace was returned and the Labour MP expelled for the session.
And despite all this, the UK is still no closer to agreeing a deal to leave the European Union.
