Sheikh Abdullah meets British counterpart Jeremy Hunt
The pair discussed regional developments of mutual interest including the war in Yemen
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met his British counterpart Jeremy Hunt on Thursday for bilateral talks.
The talks were part of Sheikh Abdullah’s official visit to Britain and the pair discussed ways to strengthen and develop existing ties between the two nations.
Welcoming Sheikh Abdullah to London, Mr Hunt highlighted the already well-established strategic relations between the two countries.
The pair also discussed regional developments of mutual interest including the war in Yemen during the meeting that was attended by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Sulaiman Hamed Al Mazrouei, UAE Ambassador to the UK.
Sheikh Abdullah congratulated Mr Hunt, who replaced Boris Johnson as foreign secretary in July, on his recent promotion.
