A man has been shot in Brussels, Belgium after he attacked two soldiers, according to police
Belgian prosecutors said that the man initially survived the shooting but later died.
The incident is being treated as a terrorist attack.
A spokeswoman for the prosecutors office said: "We believe that it is a terrorist attack," confirming that the attacker had died.
Soldiers opened fire on the man, who yelled twice 'allahu akbar', while attacking the soldiers, the spokeswoman added.
One soldier was “slightly wounded”, of the two that were targeted, officials said.
One witness in the area reported sounds of gunshot along with a heavy police presence.

The incident took place in Boulevard Emile Jacqmain in central Brussels at around 8pm local time (10pm GST).
The Belgian capital has seen a heavy presence of soldiers designed to reassure people after a terrorist attack in March 2016 left 32 people dead.
