Mother: My son killed Terre'Blanche

The mother of a 15-year-old murder suspect says her son told her that he struck white supremacist leader, Eugene Terre'Blanche with an iron rod after the farmer refused to pay him.

VENTERSDORP, South Africa // The mother of a 15-year-old murder suspect says her son told her that he struck white supremacist leader, Eugene Terre'Blanche with an iron rod after the farmer refused to pay him. She told Associated Press Television News today that her son admitted he and an older farmworker killed Terre'Blanche on his ranch in north-west South Africa over the weekend. She says her son had not been paid since December. Terre'Blanche was leader of the far-right Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging movement. AWB spokesman Andries Nienaber says they plan to march on Ventersdorp police station today to demand police produce the two suspects. The other is a 28-year-old farmworker. Mr Nienaber would not say why they wanted the suspects produced.
