DUBAI // A social media prank by a Russian comedian has prompted Dubai Police to investigate because of the dangerous stunts it features.

The video prank, which has more than four million views on YouTube and shows the comedian scaring a woman when the driver flips the car on to two wheels and balances it driving down the road.

Colonel Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, director of Dubai Traffic Police, said that the video is not a joking matter.

“It is reckless and endangers the lives of the passengers. Performing such stunts in deserted roads with no traffic does not exempt drivers from their responsibilities,” he said.

Colonel Al Mazroui said that the traffic police department is looking to summon everyone involved with the video for questioning and to charge them with endangering the lives of others.
