Forty thousand people in Yemen have received food baskets from the Emirates Red Crescent.
The aid is another step in a series of relief efforts carried out by the ERC to provide food security to those affected by the crisis in Yemen.
The food was handed out with the Hadhramout relief assistance programme.
Those who received the aid expressed thanks and appreciation to the UAE for this gesture, reported Wam, the state news agency.
The UAE provided Yemen with Dh4.34 billion in aid, between April 2015 and July 2016.
