The world’s longest urban zipline in Dubai Marina is now open for bookings for those brave enough to take on the kilometre long ride from the Amwaj towers in Jumeirah Beach Residences.

Thrill seekers taking on the XDubai zipline will land in the terrace of Dubai Marina Mall after flying headfirst in a ‘superman’ at speeds of up to 80 km per hour.

The ride isn’t for the faint hearted, but the views 170 metres up at the starting point are sure to be spectacular.

Last week, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed experienced the ride with a nervous-looking Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma, President of the UAE Padel Association.

The Crown Prince of Dubai shared his footage on his Instagram account on Sunday.

With two ziplines running concurrently, XLine can accommodate 16 people per hour with individuals able to take the leap - or zip - with a friend, family member or colleague.

All those experiencing the XLine can share their experience with the world through a helmet mounted Go-Pro with photos and video delivered via email following the experience.

Bookings can be made at the Marina Mall XDubai shop, or online on their website.
