More than 20 Emirati women and families will showcase their creative works in an exhibition in Khalifa City on Saturday, as part of the third annual Emirati Women's Day celebrations on August 23.

Khawala Al Khaledi, Head of the Event Organising Committee, said the 45-day exhibition, titled, "Mubdia'h" (Innovator), aims to encourage women entrepreneurs and increase their participation in various activities across the country.

''The event will provide an ideal opportunity to increase women's participation in trade and professional activities, as well as a platform for dialogue and communication between businesswomen, as they mark Emirati Women's Day. The event will also create new avenues and roles for women, to unlock their talent and realise their potential,'' she said.

The exhibition is part of the "Mubdia'h Programme," which was launched by the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council in 2015, to legally regulate the practice of female Emiratis in home-based trading activities.
