YouTube star Casey Neistat has given his seal of approval on Emirates’ new state-of-the-art first class suites.

In a video blog viewed more than 3.5m times, the vlogging sensation recorded his experience of travelling in the Boeing 777-300ER.

The fully-enclosed cabins measure 40 square-feet (3.7-square-metres) and offer guests unprecedented privacy, fine dining, mood lighting and 32in TV screens.

Journeying from Brussels to Dubai, Mr Neistat calls the adaptable chair which turns into a bed the “all time greatest airplane seat”. Viewers see the moment when upon request the air crew come into the cabin and make up the chair with bedding to turn it into a comfortable bed.

“It feels more like a small but extremely elegant hotel room than it does an airplane seat,” Mr Neistat says.

“The legroom borders on the ridiculous,” says Mr Neistat, who proceeds to fit his entire body under a table in front of his seat. He remarks: “You could fit a small family down here”.

The seats feature floor-to-ceiling sliding doors for privacy and peace and most also provide a window view, which can be enjoyed with a personal pair of binoculars.

Those positioned in the middle aisle are given 'virtual windows', which live-stream views from the plane via fibre optic external cameras.

The airline has been driving its advertising with the help of big motoring name Jeremy Clarkson.

The new suites were inspired by the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
