Emergency services raced to the rescue of a sheepish goat marooned on the UAE's highest mountain for several days.
Ras Al Khaimah Civil Defence turned out to Jebel Jais after an owner reported one of his herd had been stranded 55 metres above the ground since Friday.
A special unit was deployed to bring the animal down to safety.
An officer clambered up a ladder to reach the stricken goat before carefully lowering it to the ground using a rope.
Brigadier General Mohammed Abdullah Al Zaabi, director of RAK Civil Defence, praised the rapid response of the crew.
