DUBAI// Dubai Police have released a video showing their input in tackling The Address Downtown Dubai Hotel fire on New Year’s Eve.
Published on their YouTube account the video shows officers, civil defence and search and rescue teams evacuating the 63-storey luxury hotel and surrounding area.
Officials can also be seen assisting and carrying elderly people.
Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed, son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, was also on hand to help with the clean up.
At the 0:50 mark the young royal is seen working with authorities and moving a couch out of the way.
