The mercury got as high as 36.5°C in the UAE on Saturday - but it's not time to pack away the winter woollies just yet
UAE weather: winds to push temperatures lower across country
The winds will pick up over the sea over the next two days, causing temperatures to dip in the evening and night.
The moderate winds would be “associated with a significant fall in temperatures,” according to the National Centre for Meteorology.
But hazy and warm weather will continue through the day with temperatures continuing to rise past 30°C in most areas of the UAE, and humidity rising in coastal areas.
The highest temperature recorded on Saturday was 36.5°C at Sweihan and the lowest was 12.7°C in Ras Ghanadah.
Temperatures will range from 15 to 35°C in the interior regions, 14 to 31°C along the coast and 13 to 23°C in the mountains.
The maximum humidity would be 65 to 85 per cent across coastal areas, 55 to 75 per cent in interior regions and between 40 to 60 per cent in the mountains.
The sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate in the Oman Sea from Monday onwards, with wind speeds between about 16 and 24 km/h.
