Hot and humid conditions will persist today and tomorrow but the mercury is likely to drop on Saturday.
Misty and foggy weather affecting visibility may be expected in some areas, especially around the northern coasts, warned the National Centre of Meteorology.
Relative humidity is set to increase during the night and in the early hours of the day in these areas, leading to the foggy conditions.
Rough seas conditions are expected in the Arabian Gulf but the Oman Sea is likely to be calmer.
Temperatures will vary between 26°C and 45°C in coastal areas today, while internal areas may see a fluctuation between 25°C and 47°C and mountainous regions 20°C to 36°C.
At present, it is 42°C in Dubai but feels like 45°C, while Abu Dhabi has temperatures of 40°C this morning, though it may feel like 42°C.
The wind speed may reach 42km/hr in coastal areas, 38km/hr in internal areas and 36km/hr in hilly areas.
People can hope for better weather with a drop in temperatures on Saturday. During the weekend, fresh winds causing blowing dust, especially in open areas, are likely and the possibility of fog will continue in the mornings.
