UAE weather: temperatures to dip gradually
Cooler climes are expected as we approach the end of summer
After long humid summer days, the National Centre for Meteorology said temperatures are likely to dip in some areas, but humidity remains high.
People can expect pleasant conditions which may turn cloudy at times. Light winds will cause blowing dust in open areas.
The temperature in Abu Dhabi was 29°C this morning but felt like 32°C. Dubai was 31°C but felt like 35°C.
In coastal areas there will be a temperature range of 28°C to 42°C, internal areas 25°C to 44°C and 22°C to 36°C in the mountains.
Humidity is set to reach 90 per cent in coastal areas and internal areas, and 65 per cent in the mountains.
Moderate sea conditions are expected in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
There is a chance of fog and misty weather as the relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and early hours of the day in coastal and internal areas.
