The country saw highs of 30°C yesterday and today the mercury is set to rise further.

Coastal areas will see a temperature range of 15°C to 31°C, internal areas of 12°C to 32°C and mountainous zones of 11°C-21°C, according to The National Centre for Meteorology.

Also, humidity is set to reach 85 per cent in around the coast today, with 80 per cent in internal areas and 75 per cent in mountainous zones.

Hazy and cloudy weather is also set to continue in the first week of the year.
