Hot and hazy weather is set to continue across the UAE with winds causing blowing dust in open areas.

The mercury is likely to shoot up further on Thursday as hot and humid conditions persist.

It is 31°C in Dubai and Abu Dhabi this morning, though it feels like 38°C in both emirates.

Throughout the rest of the day, temperatures are likely to remain between 29-44°C in coastal areas, 27-47°C in internal parts and 25-39°C in the mountains.

Wind speed may reach 38 kilometres per hour at times and cause blowing dust or sand in many parts.

Relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and early morning in the coastal areas.

Humidity will vary from 20-85 per cent in coastal regions, 10-65 per cent in internal areas and 5-60 per cent in the mountains.

Moderate sea conditions are expected with chances of rough waters northwards during daytime in the Arabian Gulf.
