Temperatures could reach 40ºC in the interior as humidity and temperatures rise slightly over the weekend, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.
Thursday temperatures could reach a high of 35ºC and a low of 23ºC to 26ºC on the coast. The temperature will reach highs of 34ºC to 40ºC in the interior and lows of 19ºC to 26ºC.
Moderate winds will blow dust in open areas. Winds will be 22 to 28 kph on the coast but could reach up to 45 kph. Coastal winds are easterly becoming northeasterly to northwesterly by afternoon, with some clouds.
Humidity may reach up to 95 per cent on the coast and the interior. It will increase in some regions at night and early on Friday morning.
Friday will be partly cloudy in some areas with a gradual rise in temperature. Saturday will see another small rise in temperature, with moderate winds and blowing dust.
Rough seas are expected offshore in the northern emirates and north of the Oman sea on Thursday. The sea will be moderate on Friday and Saturday.
