Residents are warned to take precautions as temperatures and humidity continue to rise.

The National Centre of Meteorology said conditions would be fair and dusty, with temperatures reaching up to 45°C inland.

Light to moderate winds may kick up and are expected to reach speeds as high as 36kph along internal areas and 40kph over the coast.

Temperatures will range from 26°C to 45°C inland, 27°C to 42°C along the coast and 23°C to 37°C in the mountains.

Humidity levels could reach a high of 70 per cent in the interior and 80 per cent at the coast.

The highest temperatures registered in the UAE on Tuesday was recorded at 3.30pm in Hamim at 47.2°C.
