UAE weather: residents warned over fog and misty conditions
Hot weather is set to continue with temperatures reaching 49°C
Fog and mist was reported over some parts of the UAE on Wednesday morning.
The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology reported foggy patches and mist over Tareef Al Ruwais road in Abu Dhabi's Al Dhafrah region.
Meanwhile, hot weather is set to continue with temperatures reaching 49°C.
The weather will continue be partly cloudy and hazy at times and the amount of medium clouds will increase, with a slight possibility of rain especially over eastern and southern areas by the afternoon.
Temperatures across the country will continue to be "hot to very hot", with highs reaching 44°C to 49°C in the internal areas, 41°C to 46°C along the coast and 34°C to 39°C in the mountains.
With southeasterly to northeasterly winds blowing between 14 to 26 kph blowing dust and sand over exposed areas. Sea conditions are expected to be moderate becoming rough at times over the Arabian Gulf and moderate over the Sea of Oman.
Relative humidity will reach highs of 60-85 per cent along coastal areas and 55-75 per cent in the internal areas, rising during the night and morning over some western coastal areas.
Lowest temperature recorded over the country today was 26.3°C in Jebel Jais.
