Rainfall is forecast over parts of Fujairah and Al Ain on Sunday as thick clouds will cover some eastern and southern areas of the country
Hazy and cloudy conditions are set to continue over the next two days, according to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology.
Winds will be light to moderate in general, freshening at times and causing blowing dust over exposed areas.
Temperatures will be "hot during day time and fair by night", with highs reaching between 42°C and 46°C in interior areas, between 38°C and 43°C along the coast, and between 28°C and 35°C in the mountains.
Humidity levels will increase at night and in the morning over the coastal areas. The maximum humidity will be between 70 to 85 per cent across coastal regions, between 69 to 80 per cent in internal areas and 30 to 50 per cent in the mountains.
The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman, the centre said.
