Much of the UAE will be covered by a blanket of cloud again on Wednesday as the overcast weather conditions continue.

Light to moderate rain was reported this morning in Umm al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah.

It will be hazy for much of the day as daytime temperatures peak at 34°C in eastern areas.

In Abu Dhabi and Dubai, temperatures will reach 32°C according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

Open areas of land are also most likely to be hit by blowing dust and sand, reducing visibility on the roads for drivers.

It will be cooler in the northern emirates, with the temperature in the mountain areas likely to reach 24°C.

A similar weather pattern is expected on Thursday.
