The National Center of Meteorology issued an advisory cautioning the public against strong winds and rough seas that will push waves in the Arabian Gulf to a height of eight to 12 feet offshore on Monday.

The warning is in effect until Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile, on land, north-westerly wind speeds are expected to reach between 20 to 30km/h, with gusts up to 45km/h.

Windy conditions will be accompanied by falling temperatures and fair to partly cloudy skies, according to the NCM.
