UAE weather: More rain on the horizon today
Residents can expect to a dip in temperatures as well as further showers, but the conditions won't be as severe as those on Monday
After rain and winds wreaked havoc across the country on Monday, causing schools to close and traffic to come to a standstill, the inclement conditions finally eased as the day wore on.
The National Centre of Meteorology has warned of more rain today, but, for now, Dubai has merely cloudy skies and is experiencing temperatures around the 24°C mark.
Abu Dhabi woke up to partly sunny climes at 23°C.
The weather is likely to remain cloudy in general, with temperatures pleasant as the day wears on.
Many areas may be affected by fresh winds with dust blowing in open stretches.
The NCM added that the country is being affected by low surface pressure in parts of the northern and eastern areas, while the western region has high pressure.
Coastal areas will see a temperature range of 17°C-27°C, internal areas 15°C-29°C and mountainous regions 10°C-22°C.
Sea conditions are likely to be rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in the Oman Sea.
