UAE weather: Hot, with rough seas

Hot and windy weather is forecast for Wednesday with temperatures expected to peak at 46C inland.

Skies are expected to be fair in general while moderate fresh winds, especially over the sea, will cause rough seas.

Temperatures in Abu Dhabi and Dubai are expected to range between 29C and 4C today, the National Centre of Meteorology said.

Temperatures will range between 25C to 42C along the coast and from 23C to 46C inland.

People in the Northern Emirates or in mountainous areas can expect temperatures of 20C to 36C.

Humidity will increase overnight peaking at 90 per cent over the coast with potential mist forming in areas across the country, especially in the north.

Sea will be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf, with waves reaching up to 7ft in height, and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
