Temperatures to drop towards the end of the week
Cloudy and hazy conditions will persist across the country on Tuesday with cooler temperatures and fresh winds.
The National Centre of Meteorology said that clouds could form over the eastern areas and may be associated with some rainfall.
Fresh Northeasterly - Southeasterly winds, with speeds reaching 40kph, will cause dusty patches over some exposed areas during daytime and rough seas.
Humidity will increase at night and during the morning over the coastal and interior regions along with fog and mist especially westward.
Temperatures will range from 26°C to 45°C in the interior regions, 27°C to 44°C along the coast and 24°C to 36°C in the mountains.
The maximum humidity will be between 60 to 90 per cent across coastal, 55 to 85 per cent over internal areas, and between 35 to 65 per cent in the mountains.
Waves will be rough by morning becoming moderate by afternoon in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.
