The national weather service centre has warned of a chance of fog and mist forming with visibility less than 1,000 metres over the rural regions of Abu Dhabi and Dubai Sunday morning. The warning is in effect until 8:30am and drivers are cautioned to be on the lookout.
“Satellite images indicate fog formation over some middle internal areas,” the National Center of Meteorology and Seismolology announced on its website.

Sunday’s highs are expected to reach between 33 C and 36 C Celsius along the country’s coast, 35 C to 39 C in the interior and 25 C to 30 C in the mountains.
There will also be “light to moderate winds in general,” that “may freshen at times during noon time over some exposed areas.” Northeasterly to northwesterly wind speeds will range from about 12 to 28 km/h, causing the sea to be “slight to moderate.”
