Fog covered parts of the country overnight and into Tuesday morning with visibility down to less than 1000 meters in some areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

Fog and mist settled over the Al Dhafra area, Madinat Zayed and Qsyoura this morning, with forecasters expecting the fog to last until 8:30am - especially over the western parts of the country.

Meanwhile, the weather is forecast to be fair to partly cloudy and hazy at times on Tuesday, with light to moderate winds.

A slight rise in temperature is also expected on Tuesday with temperatures ranging throughout the day between 06°C and 27°C inland, 10°C and 24°C along the coast, and 02°C and 12°C in the mountains.

Humidity is likely to increase during the night and into Wednesday morning over most coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog formation.

The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
