Fair to hazy skies are expected across the country on Monday, with a gradual increase in cloud cover over some eastern and southern areas, which may become convective by afternoon.
Light to moderate south-easterly winds will turn to the north-easterly direction by late night, gaining strength over some exposed areas to reach a speed of upto 38 kilometres per hour, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.
Humidity is likely to increase during the night and Tuesday morning over most coastal and internal areas with a chance of fog formation.
Temperatures are expected to reach 40°C inland over some areas and drop to 20°C by night.
It will be between 37°C and 22°C along the coast, and 32°C to 18°C in the mountains.
The sea will be slight to moderate in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
