UAE weather: Dusty day with chance of rain and fall in temperature

Today will generally be cloudy and dusty, with a chance of rain showers over some eastern areas in the afternoon. Visibility will be poor over some coastal and internal areas and is expected to remain that way until 6.30pm.

There will be a drop in temperature – a rare case in May - over the western coast. Fresh winds will also cause dust and sand in the same area.

The Arabian Gulf has been reported as rough, so sea goers should be wary of strong waves, especially if they are taking small fishing boats. The Oman Sea, however, will remain moderate.

The lowest temperature overnight was 23°C at Jebel Jais.
