Cooler weather will continue across much of the country on Saturday as fog and mist looks set to return for the week ahead.

A fresh breeze reaching up to 38km an hour at sea will keep temperatures down on Saturday, although it will become humid overnight.

The new working week will bring familiar weather patterns of recent days, with mostly fine weather interrupted by cloud build-up and continuing humidity.

The northern emirates will feel the coolest, as daytime temperatures dip to just 12 degrees on Sunday, while the rest of the UAE can expect slightly warmer conditions as the mercury rises to a high of 22C in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and 25C on the east coast.

Winds from the north will continue for the early part of the week, with sea conditions slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
