Cloudy and hazy conditions will persist across the country on Monday with rainfall likely over eastern and southern areas, according to the National Centre for Meteorology.

Heavy rain fell yesterday afternoon over some parts of Al Ain and Sharjah and was reported over Al Hili, the Industrial Area in Al Ain, Al Qattara and Al Quaa.

Winds are expected to be light to moderate in general, freshening at times, causing blowing dust over some exposed areas.
Humidity will increase at night and during the morning over the coast and interior regions, along with fog and mist.
The sea will continue to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
Temperatures will range from 23°C to 44°C in the interior regions, 22°C to 40°C along the coast and 19°C to 33°C in the mountains.
The maximum humidity will be 65 to 85 per cent across coastal and internal areas, and between 35 to 55 per cent in the mountains.
