Continuing along a well-known UAE trend; relatively hot to hot weather will continue throughout the day today.

However, temperatures are set to cool at night, with weather officials acknowledging it will be “mild”.

At 9:17 am the temperature reached 32.2 degrees Celsius, with 60 per cent relative humidity. Earlier during the morning at 6:15 am, the lowest temperature recorded was 19.4 degrees in Umm Al Quwain.

The sky will be partly cloudy and partly hazy over some areas. The clouds may become convective over some eastern and southern areas in the afternoon, but there is no promise of rainfall.

Light to moderate winds will freshen at times in the afternoon, and may start to blow dust over some exposed areas.

As usual, relative humidity will increase during the night and early over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog formation. The Arabian Sea and Oman Gulf will continue to be slight to moderate.
