Two crashes on Dubai's Al Khail Road this morning saw motorists being advised to proceed with caution.

The first accident was on the northbound side of the motorway, between the D67 and the D65 junctions in Al Quoz, while the later collision happened on the southbound side of the highway, after the turnoff for Al Waha Street.

A further crash on the D591 near Discovery Gardens is causing minor delays for those leaving Discovery Gardens and heading into the city.

A similar incident occurred at the junction of the D61 and E311 near Flamingo villas but traffic appears to be moving smoothly.

There is currently severe congestion on the lane merging from the D61 to the Sheikh Zayed Road near Emirates Hills.

Commuters from Sharjah and Ajman headed into Dubai can expect some delays on the E11 and the E311, but the 611 appears to be clear.

In Abu Dhabi, there is slight congestion on Salam Street towards downtown but traffic is otherwise running smoothly.
