An accident on the E611 Emirates Road towards Abu Dhabi before the Maliha Road intersections is causing congestion and tailbacks for drivers on Tuesday morning.
Heavy traffic is also being reported on the E311 Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road near Al Twar district in the direction of Sharjah.
In Abu Dhabi, the usual heavy rush hour traffic is causing delays on the E10 near to the Eastern Mangroves heading towards the Corniche, with motorists urged to take extra caution and expect a longer commute into work.
