An accident involving multiple vehicles delayed commuters in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday morning.
The collision happened close to twofour54 along the slip road coming off the E10 before the Sheikh Zayed Bridge, as the road heads around in the direction of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
The emergency services attended and traffic was moving more freely by 8.45am.
Roads were running well elsewhere in the capital, but traffic was beginning to develop on access roads to the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Centre.
Traffic was beginning to build up on the E311 near University City towards Sharjah and also on the E11 Sheikh Zayed Road near Dubai International Airport.
Most major routes remained clear of congestion, although the usual delays are being felt on minor roads in the Al Qusais industrial area of Dubai.
