Streets across the emirates may have been clearer this morning after a week of heavy fog, but we're not yet totally in the clear.
The UAE National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology expects fog and mist formation Saturday and Sunday in the Western region and southern areas of the UAE, which lie on the border with Saudi Arabia.
The same situation occurred during the early hours of this morning, when mist and fog were reported across different areas of Abu Dhabi emirate only.
There was fog over Shakhbout City, mist over Khalifa College in Al Ain and in Sweihan. Around dawn, there was fog over Al Shamkha City and Al Ain City.

As for the UAE in general, throughout the weekend residents will enjoy fair weather, which will be occasionally freshened up with light to moderate winds.
However, undesirable humidity will increase during the night and early morning, as it usually does over some coastal and interior areas.
Despite warnings from weather officials this morning that there will be rough sea in the northern Arabian Gulf, seafarers have nothing to worry about on Saturday and Sunday, as slight to moderate waves have been predicted in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
