Tickets for teen pop idol Justin Bieber's Dubai show have gone on sale to the general public today, with more than half already sold via 'pre-registrations'.

Concert promoter Done Events have received more than 15,000 registrations for pre-sales and since 12am Friday when pre-sales began, with the Fan Pit category completely selling out.

General sale is now open and fans can purchase tickets from the remaining available categories through www.justinbieberdubai.com or www.boxofficeme.com.

Thomas Ovesen, COO of Done Events, said: "The concert venue capacity is 25,000 and there will be only one show put on sale. In my 12 years of doing concerts here in the UAE I have not seen such a demand for tickets and we haven't even started the general sale yet."

Justin Bieber will perform live in Dubai on May 4, 2013 at 7he Sevens Stadium. The remaining available ticket categories are regular standing at Dh350 each and premium standing at Dh500 each.
