UAE Air Force strike kills several Houthis
Planes in support mission as Yemeni government forces press on to the Hayes district of Yemen
The UAE Armed Forces has struck a military vehicle belonging to the Iranian-backed Houthis in the Yemeni district of Hayes.
A number of the Houthi militia were killed, while their vehicle carrying weapons and ammunition, was destroyed.
The UAE Armed Forces, which are part of the Arab Coalition in Yemen led by Saudi Arabia, continue to carry out support operations for the legitimate forces in Yemen as they move towards the Hayes district, state news agency Wam reported on Tuesday.
Also on Tuesday, the body of soldier First Corporal Abdullah Mohammed Ahmed Al Dahmani arrived on board a plane at Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi.
His death was announced on Monday evening. No other details were available.
