Two Emirati men went missing on Friday evening, a Sharjah Police spokesman said.
"They lost their way in the mountains and called the rescue team asking for help," he said.
"They were lost in a rugged area and couldn't go back in the dark. They were found after a 13-hour search at 6.30am on Saturday."
Their phones ran out of battery making it difficult for the rescue teams to locate the men at night.
Both men were uninjured, police said.
